So I am 27 now. This was a weird birthday for me. Maybe it is because I have a pinched nerve and can't walk, and had to deal with this all weekend in New Orleans. I don't think so though. I have realized lately that I have been changing a lot. Maybe it's age, maybe it's experience, maybe it's love, but I am different. This birthday was not as big of a deal to me as past birthdays have been. It was like another day really. 27 is 2 years older that 25. 27 is 3 years away from 30. 27 is 23 years away from 50. Sheesh. So here are a few of the shots from the weekend. Eric took more pictures than I did. I might have to steal later. (special shout out to J. Hendey for help with the photos thanks little one!)

ok this is at dinner the first night. Pat O'Briens had a bit of a line so we went here. No clue on the name of the restaurant though. Good. B

Aww David.....David, me and Kate at dinner. Smallest and stinkiest bathroom ever.

Funny story. The waitress brought our check and told us the tip was included so...we didn't add additional tip. She comes chasing us out the door screaming that we did not leave a tip. Eric was very embarrassed because he was the one who paid with his card. Woops

I love this picture. Next week is our one year..Ooooohhhhh

We look just like that guy and his horse don't we? At the right angle this horse looks like it had a huge penis.

Dinner Saturday night at Irene's cuisine. My Favorite restaurant in New Orleans.

Eric, Me and Caroline

The menu. I had the Soft Shell Crab pasta, Kate and Eric had the Veal Marsala (not P.C. but soo good), Lauren had the fish almondine, and David had the cannelloni (spelling? I ain't I-talian ya'll) A+ soo delish

Delish coffee and a good cleavage shot

The table told the waiter it was by birthday and he sent cheesecake over and sang to me.

Bite for a bite

Outside of the Aquarium

TURTLE

This little guy would not stop staring at Lauren. It was a little creepy

Cute birds that were in love

Hey little guy!

The Moray Eel. Lauren made a pun...it was funny

Seriously best part of the trip was looking back and seeing David smiling SOO big over this little otter eating shrimp. He was laughing and having the best time watching him.
Well that was it from my pictures. I will have to add a few more of Eric's from the day on Saturday. We went to the french market and had breakfast across from cafe du monde and lunch at Cafe Masperos. Soo good.
I did not get to go do as much as I wanted to because of my back/leg/ass. I think I have a pinched nerve. The doctor could not tell me for sure without an MRI. maybe after the 5th time of me complaining about my back they will finally order one. I'm not bitter...
